History of the Royalton Mansion

Industrialist Edward Moore commissioned the estate house on it original 150 acres in 1918 by the architect firm of Cross and Cross. Completed in 1922 the Moore's lived and entertained in their gold coast country estate for the next 20 years.

The estate was transformed into the Roslyn Country Club neighborhood in the early 1950's, and the house continued a proud history of catered affairs for decades.

Tito Prunell and Michael Einhorn, of Jem Caterers found the grand house in disrepair several years ago and pain staking restored its timelessness and glory to it 1920s' levels.
